I've experienced this problem before, but, it's usually fixed by my deleteing the .sav and re-saving it from my save state. After that, it works fine everytime I reset the game.

When I try to load my game though, it automatically starts me over and it's getting rather annoying.

Does anyone have any fixes for this? Maybe I need a new version of Fire Red?

Thanks.

EDIT: I'm using VBA 1.8.0.6*** and VBA Link v1.72
The main problem here is that both windows of VBA must be correctly configured.

Fire Red dosn't use/need the Real time clock, it's just the save type problem.

The solution is to configure both windows save type to Flash 128k or using the vba-over.ini file.
