Degeon, did you see that I edited my last post, there is a new leaked driver that fixes the triangles and apparently fixes stuff in recent pc games as a bonus
http://www.station-drivers.com/page/ati%20catalyst.htm the leaked 8.49 drivers fix the problem (at least in my testing so far!) build date of April 10th, 4 extensions added, OpenGL driver 6.14.10.7536.
