E8400 @ 4GHz is still not enough (or if it is, it's barely) for PCSX2... I wonder how many times I've said that...

Yes, there is some point to liquid! 4.5GHz on a E8400 or E8500 or E3110 is what you want if you want all games to run at at least full speed.

Actually, I have some $30 mobos that can take a quad... but they can't overclock for the love of god!

IMHO, for PCSX2 at full speed, anything short of a 3.6GHz Core processor with less than 2 cores is just too... weak. Sincerely, we need a lot more CPU power than we think... in some games (if not most of them).
