Unable to Load Graphics Plugin

SYMPTOMS
The emulator displays the message Error Opening GS Plugin, and all graphics fail to render.
OR
The emulator crashes with a black graphics canvas upon the start of the game.

CAUSE
The graphics plugin's minimum system requirements have not been met.

RESOLUTION
There are no resolutions that are currently available.

WORKAROUND
Use an alternate version of the plugin or a setup with lower system requirements.

STATUS
This is a known issue.

APPLIES TO

PCSX2 all recent releases
GSdx, ZeroGS all recent releases
