Some games will have serious GPU bottlenecking even at 1024 x 1024 or 768 x 768 even with a 8800GTS G92.

Gran Turismo 4 would be one of 'em. Most other games would have GPU bottleneck at 1280 x 1280 though. 1920 x 1920 is possible on some specific titles... like FFX.

Mmm... I have my sources? And seriously, those were estimations based on normal average consumer prices. Should be at $1200 for my complete computer. And since I can run GT4 at full speed, I guess taking the processor any further than 4GHz (or 3.8GHz for that matter) is seriously... too friggin' overkill!
