paint work in pixel mode without applying anti aliasing, so it's lot better if you wanna work with kind of image

in PS this kind of transparancy (well actually not transparancy at all, since it's not using alpha channel but instead remove a precise color during rendering) didn't work well, since ps at normal state applied anti aliasing to smooth edge, thus, you'll get smothed egde using transparancy (alpha channel) this cost you alot, since if you flatten the layers, you won't get pure magenta arround the corner due to the mixing of magenta and some other color with transparancy on other layer.
if you have difficulties with PS for applying magenta layer, switch to paint on your final stage of your skin making, and add magenta color (for transparancy) on paint
*FYI, all my skinn up front use CS3 extended, so yeah, CS3 still (and definately always) kicks ms paint
