Those videos are disgusting, absolutely NO doubt about that. However, the actions of some don't reflect everyone else. Many others in the military are actually doing their job: helping others. Whether by giving them supplies, or simply talking to them. You can't say 100% of them are bad for the actions of maybe 10% (not accurate figures, just representation).
Now, the only reason I support us staying is simple: look at Vietnam. Our morale w If we pull out now, all our gains will be for nothing and those 4,000+ who died will have died for absolutely NO reason. And chances are, things will fall apart and the terrorists will take over and then attack us...AGAIN.
And notice on the news, it's always bad? There is a lot of good stuff going on. I remember reading in a paper that an Iraqi civilian said that Iraq is still violent, but they are more free than they were under Saddam. Us going away and letting the radicals take over is surely going to undo that, no?
You can continue to preach the media's propaganda of us pulling out, but the families of those who died will NOT take their loved ones dieing for no reason very well. Just put yourself in their place and I think you'll understand.
