its not that gory, a few card guard decapitations here and there but compared to what we see in most M rated games today its actually quite tame. i would imagine if it was to be resubmitted for a new rating today it would probably end up being bumped down to a T.

most of them cited the same things i did, it was a bit on the linear side so once you have played through it once, you have seen all there is to see but in a way that can be labeled as both a good and a bad thing. i think alice was one of those games that had the potential to and could have easily pulled off a mixture of action or shooting (3rd person at least) with some rpg characteristics like in the system shock series or deus ex shooter/rpg hybrids. the gameplay overall is very good but for some reason i think it ignores a somewhat decent amount of concept possibilties that could have been used to add more to the style and gameplay to really give it an edge over other games. i probably should have mentioned this earlier but i didnt want to over emphasis this and make it sound like it was a bigger drawback than what it actually was.
