The card was never meant to have a good price to performance ratio. Its there to be the best, and from the looks of it, its done just that.
IMO the only bad news from the results is that most likely the 9800GTX isn't going to perform any better than this, and there isn't a particularly huge gap between the 8800 Ultra and the 9800GX2... so the way I see it, its not going to pull off any miracles in terms of performance...
On the other hand, this will give AMD a chance to get themselves together again.
