Good initiative, your recommended specs are fairly high I have to admit but for constant full speed gaming in those faster running games you're not that much off really. But of course doesn't mean you can't play with a Core 2 Duo at say 2.4GHz or AMD X2 at 3GHz or so either but it won't run fullspeed all the time but at acceptable speeds for most people. (I thought PCSX2 ran very well and many games playable with my Opteron 165 @ 2.8GHz too for example)
I let the other higher ops/admins decide if this should be stickied or not as I know they don't like having too many stickies.
But this forum sure can't have enough of these threads, maybe if we'd stick em a little anywhere then maybe we wouldn't have to tell the people the same thing to read the guides all the time and your guide is fairly short and noob-friendly...
