Of course we do, not everybody has enough money to buy a new high-end computer... or even a new computer at all. Personally, I use the current version of nullDC on a computer that was "quite powerful" in 2006, but I didn't upgrade it since then. A new version that does not run slower than the current one, but is more compatible, would be much appreciated.

What DC games use Windows CE? I know Virtua Cop 2 does, but what else?
Sega rally 2 , Tomb raider (some of em anyway) Urban chaos , more. You can get a very good cpu for < $80, thats barely midle-end

This is a generally the case. Not always, but most of the time. The performance differences should be pretty marginal though. Raz has pretty good support for low end systems as it is. I would not expect much more, but you never know.

Raz has explained his beef with save states. I honestly can't blame him. I personally loved save states in ePSXe. It would be a welcome addition to nullDC. But there are much more important things. Plus you would not want to use save states through a whole game just to have it corrupt and not work right at the end or something. That would suck.
The current nullDC code is rather slow, the dynarec can get at least 2x faster ... but that requires me to work at it .As im responcible for all progress made on nullDC so i cant focus at one single thing :\.

Good point, i didnt consider htpcs.

--About frame skiping--
The speed hit from rendering is generaly minimal compared to the time spent on other parts.Even if i skip the frames the game will still have to send *all* the 3d data etc, there is no way to get around that.

--Stuff that allready is implemented, or will be by next release--
Maple (input):
VMU (with display ;p), FFeedback,Deadzone
Pvr (3D):
Alt+enter handling, varius other stuff i dont realy remember now.
Aica (sound):
Most (all ?) of the sound code is rewriten. Also there is some temp DSP emulation, im working on a dynarec for it to make it faster. Here is a sample : grandia2 sample

Also i was thinking to make a nice gui using .net but quite a few ppl seem to dislike dependecy to it.
