You are right there is one VERY heavy game that needs a more poweful card than the 8800ultra to run at ultra high settings 1280x1024! And this game is Crysis!!!
But even with my 8800gt i got near playble speeds in ultra high settings (20-35 fps with the ultra high tweak for xp). But the 8800 ultra is not much more powerful than a 8800 gt, 2 8800gt in Sli mode can beat 1 8800ulta for sure
