I've got the same problem, but not at the first dream scene, but when I encounter Id for the second time and fei is locked up in him.
Id sais he will show me a part of himself and then I see a countdown movie. The game crashes randomly in this scene... Strangely I got past the dreamscene perfectly. Might it be the new Epsxe or a new gfx plugin that i've upgraded to? I'm going to try
