Ok I did just that (made a .img version) and the same thing. Selected boxes not highlighting.

I should point out as I mentioned earlier, that I dont have that issue under epsxe. But under epsxe I get looping sound effects which you can only tolerate for a certain amount of time before you start getting headaches.

Psx is my preferance as the sound quality, compatibility + ease of use is BY FAR the best in that emulator. So if I can get that little thing working I`ll be right as rain. First game I`ve ever ran into any issues with.
