right but for one thing, if you dont already have the pc version you might want to take note that you are most likely going to be forking out a ****load of cash for it. that version is actually more expenisve and harder to find than the psx version, even more than the original black disc version of FF7 (the other being the greatest hits silvery disk version). i got the pc version somewhat soon after it was first released so i didnt pay much more than its original selling price (about $50-60), but that was a long time ago and now you can go on a site like amazon and see even the used copies going for $100-200, which is downright nuts.
with the battle models, it justs looks really weird imo, but thats just my take on it, you may like it you may not, i just dont feel it looks natural. and like the FF8 pc version, the tracks are all done in MIDI, and trust me, its noticable. and again, you will not be able to use the hardware mode, it is made for one card type and one card type only. now if you could use it, then yes it does look better than the origninal ps version. but there are emulators and plugins out there than case surpass those visuals, so unless you are restricted to using a software plugin for epsxe, everything is still going to look better than the pc version.
