Hold a sec. Does the cover featured in your screenshot (which by the way DID NOT NEED to include 60% of your background

) belong to the issue in which that "revelation" is... revealed? Because it says "Nintendo Power - January" in your original post at the start of this thread, and it is already known that the next issue (ie. the February one) features Sonic Chronicles, which can fit the "...an RPG so fantastic, so engrossing, so epic, and so hush-hush..." description given.

Somehow, I now firmly believe that we got hyped ourselves too much over something already known.
The RPG is none other than Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood.
