Yes, Dualshock is the correct setting for analog and rumble control in pSX emulator, Forte Lambardi. Have you tried later versions of the emulator; particularly v1.13?

You don't really give us very information to go on, apart from what your pad is. Most important are what OS you're using (I presume a version of Windows, since you can get Project64 to run) or what games you're trying to play.

I would presume, as well, that you must have a manufacturer's driver installed if you have rumble in some applications. Unfortunately, many manufacturers' drivers are problematical and this sort of problem, rumble working in some applications, not working in others and crashing some, is typical of a dodgy driver. See if you can find some alternatives.

I'm also puzzled as to why you posted here. This is the pSX Emulator section; your enquiry seems be be primarily about ePSXe - which makes this the wrong section.

One pad I'd really recommend for reliable and accurate rumble is the Logitech Rumblepad 2.
