Well I find it strange... I noticed you and the creator of the thread had radeons....Well let's tweak a little.
Have you tried to lower the internal resolution? Disable high resolutions textures? Also have you tried to update your drivers if it hadn't already done? You can also try
Omega drivers for radeons in order to see if it solves the issue.
