And Lair is not such a bad looking game, either. It's definitely one of the... if not "the"... best looking titles on the PS3.

I agree man, you see, it's a fact computers with mainstream videocards will catch up with the PS3 in the graphics department. Right now it's just the high end videocards that can content with that system at such resolutions, but it's usually the sluggishness of the games that makes the PS3 look as such a pretty system.
Anyway, give the PS3 devvers a few years, and I think we'll see more 1080p titles, or at least some better AA simply because they can free up resources. It took them a while to grasp such things on the PS2 as well, even though the limitation was of a different kind.

Probably, but with that 10MB of EDRam it effectively came for free, or so they say. Using system RAM is a workaround, but a slower one at that. Then again, on GPUs as powerful like that, I think 2xAA should almost come for free as well, right?
