Kk, let's assume it's a game

I read over ten threads that are at least 20 pages long... and they are just all "speculating." They did not even count the pixels in some games. And Halo 3... meh... I wouldn't touch that subject even with a 10-feet pole. It's dead.
Let us leave it in peace then.

It is 720p. But originally, it would be in 1080p. What is interesting... is its how developers decided to let the game go up to 720p instead, as the content was filling up the Blu-Ray disc... and having textures for the game at 1080p would be... ehh... not practical. Especially when it's a single-layer disc. They decided to go with 720p... and not go the road that Rainbow Six Vegas, or Ninja Gaiden Sigma took.
I think they chose wisely here, though they could easly use BD DL, couldn't they? Or do they feel some respect and want Kojima to be the first one?

And by the way, Lair would show you that 1080p is possible with MSAA 2x. The game itself is not that big in size even... maybe because they don't have that many dragons and soldiers and landscapes in the game. In Heavenly Sword, different levels have different kinds of textures and a lot of other junks. Guess the size of the disc matters after all.
It does and it always did, more space is always better. I'm still hesitating if I should buy Lair, though...

P.S.: I'm still dying to see MGS4 at 1080p... on a dual-layer disc.
It's just few more months, be patient =]
