What you're saying is nonsense, basically because you assume that no direct hardware access is done on consoles, and that is wrong. Not to mention the whole "plug the snes/ps1/etc hardware on PC" is hilarous.
Basically, you need to read a bit about how consoles/hardware work, and you'll see how WRONG are your blind assumptions.
