It doesn't matter either way. IMO, if the Xbox 360 and PS3 switched places (the Xbox 360 being as solid as the PS3 with HD-DVD/Blu-Ray for games, etc., the PS3 using DVD9, an optional hard drive, and had some overheating issues) most Playstation owners would be saying the same thing Xbox 360 owners are today. They'd be pissed off at Sony somewhat for the overheating issues, they would defend the decision to use DVD9, saying anything larger isn't really needed, etc, etc etc...I could go on forever.
It's a shame that the Xbox 360 has these overheating issues. People just can't wait to make fun of a Microsoft product, and these problems kind of give them a reason to. People pick out every little nuance the Xbox 360 has.
My advice to anyone looking to buy any console, is to decide for yourself. You can read opinions and learn from other people's experiences, but in the end you decide where you want to put your money.
