Well you see I'm used to play RPGs with 75-85 FPS on ePSXe which I actually prefer rather than 60 FPS. Yes I want the game running above 60 FPS / 100%. 75 FPS for example would be 125% or 25% faster than normal and yes I know it causes music, videos and everything run faster than it's supposed to be but I prefer it that way. Any questions?
Also another reason is that I wanted to see which emulator actually runs fastest / have less system requirements and it's a bit difficult to test that for pSX when all I get is a static 60 FPS rate when ePSXe for example runs 1000+ FPS (which can also be quite funny, try some driving game when FPS game is constantly 500+ FPS (8x+ faster than full speed) and you'll see). lol
And why wouldn't Vsync be related to the monitor? Vsync is supposed to limit the FPS rate at the refresh rate setting for the monitor (that's how ePSXe does for example) and I don't have a LCD and actually use 100Hz for my CRT and since this emulator still report 60 FPS no matter what I guess the Vsync setting in the emulator isn't really Vsync related at all, it's only a 60 FPS limit hack.

But why would it be there then if there's no difference in disabling or enabling it? Well when using search button I've seen people reporting about game started running way too fast when he switched to full screen so appearently it works at least for some though or the "Vsync" setting has been modified in a newer pSX version.
