I got my 7900GS for under $150 US (under $130, if you count the mail-in rebate). That was the best value ("bang for your buck") I could find, and I wasn't disappointed. I saw a few reviews where people whined about the fan noise, but it's really not as bad as they make it out to be. It's also pretty good, even stock, for overclocking. Supposedly, it overclocks better than the 8 series cards, and as a result can perform as well as them (in some cases a bit better). Obviously, xenosagafreak agrees with me, as he has the same exact card (with the same overclock) as me. Only thing missing is DX10 support, and I don't think we'll see that as a requirement for quite some time. Many people, myself included, refuse to use Vista x64 because of the difficulty when installing unsigned drivers. I know I don't like M$ trying to control what I can/can't install on my PC. Besides, pcsx2 doesn't run as well on Vista x64. That said, I recommend this card for anyone looking for a reasonably priced upgrade that will run pcsx2, and all current games (like my personal favorite, Oblivion) well.
