It actually started as an inner joke. The release date was scheduled on Fools' Day and it actually helped choosing the specific icon. Together with some rather cruel jokes that raz had in mind for the release it would "help" making the release a blast. After more thought about the consequences (mostly ZeZu coming for a visit with a machine gun or something if raz did that) the ideas were actually dropped one by one and only the slug remained.
