But I kind of agree with tuanming, that's for sure, (not only gits, but the others as well, mainly Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya), but we can't really judge people's tastes/styles. Anime is something that you have to enjoy for yourself, so opinions vary a lot from person to person.
(Personally) I don't say an anime suck before trying it out, and I guess you should do the same (that's my advice).

I didn't like Ikkitousen much because of the ecchi (pretending to be hentai) parts. Story was fine, but...
I finished seeing Air some time ago too, it's a bit too unreal, but maybe it's worth seeing to those who like psichology's weird cases.
