So. I wanted badly to get Eternal to work, better yet, I wanted to get Pete's OGL2 to work with the sound. They worked with all the other games. But alas, I couldn't get them to work with MGS for the sound under any circumstances.
In the end I copied NightDemons settings and went for P.E.Oblahblahblah. Works PERFECTLY. I'm running it on ePSXe by the way. Good lord am I glad I got it working though.
People using ePSXe who can't get the sound right should at best, try the settings NightDemon suggested.
