Well, I tried it as well, it's true, it's like decreasing quality by fooling ZeroGS, and most people didn't even see the difference....

It's quite a nice options for people who has their video card bottlenecking them, if you try it and it speeds up in your system, this means your video card is bottlenecking your system. It rocks for me because I can know play Castlevania Lament of Innocence at 4X anti aliasing without any slowdown.

Samhayne : Try enabling anti-aliasing and compare, you might be suprised....
It's because the primary bottleneck in your case is actually the processor since you're not using anti-aliasing.
