PecUser: I gather with the 30 prefixed cheats, you could change them to an 80 type and make the first and second cheats (e.g. 1F696A and 1F696B) in the one cheat.

Sorry, I wasn't really clear on my first post. It doesn't do anything to the cheat file, apart from making it smaller. I'm a MAME cheater (as posted before) by default so this is all new and strange to me, but not too hard as I thought to get used to! I always got told to optimise (s not z!) and have done ever since.

babygiant: to remove the zeroes, just use Notepad (or whatever) and tell it to replace 00000000 with 0000. Or just hit delete a few times
