i concur with the voltage notching, i remember from my KV8-MAX3 days, ram actually needs notching up a little the more sticks you use. for example if you have 2 sticks needing 2.6v, one may work fine at 2.6, but for 2 you will find you will require around 2.7 to 2.8 for it to be stable. Unfortunately on my old board it was increadibly picky and itd refuse to boot 90% of the time unless you upped the voltage
