Yeah, I was going to say to turn on bank interleaving because I knew what it normally did, but all I saw was the CAS latency and the interleave shut off, so I figured it was another case of BIOS Engrish or something

Try upping the voltage a notch or two. I run my pair of 512 MB HyperX sticks at 2.8-2.9v and they seem to not get very hot.
