I got it. I was bored enough last night that I just re-ripped my ISO. No idea what the original problem was, but the second that I opened my save file in the new game?
The boss was right there, waiting. Things are working fine, now. Thanks for the help, to those who tried/offered.
To hushy, no, I don't think we're in the wrong place. Being that this is the area for technical issues with a game, and we're... discussing... a technical issue with a game.
